Ebay Bidding Strategies:
If you see the "Buy It Now" logo and don't want to play the bidding game and don't want to wait until the sale is done, you just might pay a little more but you will 'win' the auction right away, if you buy at the "Buy It Now" amount. If there is no "Buy It Now" logo it could mean that the bidding has already started. Here is a method that will get you the best deal possible.

  • Place a bid for a little bit over the current amount. You will be notified by email if you are outbid.
  • If you happen to get outbid that means other people want that item as well. Now is the time to place a bid for the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the item. Don't worry, you will only pay the amount that would make you the highest bidder, not necessarily the maximum amount you bid.
  • If you get beat out at this point then you should ask yourself just how badly you want this item. Don't make the error of being caught up in a bidding frenzy - you'll quite probably end up buying it for a higher amount than you really wanted. If there are more auctions for the same item, now is the time to pick one of those for Z-1000.
